Unravel the Inner Knots of Energy & Illusion
Join me for a 90-minute Hatha yoga practice exploring one of yoga’s more subtle and transformative teachings — the Grauthis.
In the yogic tradition, grunthis are energetic knots along the spine that can obstruct the natural flow of prana and bind us to maya — illusion, ego, and the constructed self. These knots shape our identity, our patterns, and how we experience the world.
This practice offers a chance to soften those bindings and come home to something deeper.
What Are the Granthis?
Brahma Grunthi
Located near the base of the spine, linked to tamasic energy — inertia, resistance, fear of change. Tied to survival, security, and physical identity.
Vishnu Grauthi
Centered near the heart, tied to rajasic energy — attachment, striving, emotional dependency. Tied to love, connection, and validation.
Rudra Grunthi
Near the third eye, linked to sattvic energy — even clarity can become a mask. Tied to spiritual identity, insight, and control.
Each of us tends to be shaped by one predominant knot. Understanding this helps us recognize the unconscious patterns we cling to — and offers us a path to loosen what no longer serves.
What to Expect
This class includes a complete, intentional practice:
Grounded asana to prepare and stabilize
Targeted pranayama to stoke subtle energy
Kriya and meditation to bring awareness to the knots within
Reflections on yogic philosophy to bridge the mystical and the real
Together, we’ll awaken dormant energy, explore the deeper terrain of self-knowledge, and create space for something more essential to move through.
This is not about fixing or escaping — it’s about becoming more available to what’s already here.
Who This Is For
For sincere seekers, curious practitioners, and anyone wanting to move beyond surface-level practice and into the heart of yoga — as a lived, felt experience.
