JULY JOURNAL PROMPTS
Journaling can help you examine exactly what is going on in your life, help you take a step back and see what might be driving your actions. From there you have a clearer idea of what to remove that is unessential, and assist you in moving forward.
Not into journalling? I didn’t used to be.
Here’s what helps me. I set a timer for 20 mins. I write everything that comes to mind, even if that thing is ‘god I really do not want to do this, this is boring…’ this helps with moving source and intelligence through you. It quietens the analytical mind.
I remind myself that NO-ONE is going to read it, you don’t even have to read back over it.
What is it that is keeping you so busy that you’ve forgotten yourself?
What is my relationship to darkness? Do I embrace it or resist it?
What must I embrace to move forward?
What must I change to move forward?
What do I fear would happen if I made the change?
Am I willing to do the internal work to make the change?
I hope this helps you feel more embodied and clear. If you have any questions or need help email me hollycootes@gmail.com
